{Corbyn} Children Portraits Las Vegas, NV
I met Corbyn’s parents Chris and Kaley last year when I took some maternity photos for them out at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park.
You can see the images from their session HERE . I was so excited to finally meet little Corbyn, I had seen her photos nearly everyday
on facebook and new she would be a bundle of joy to photograph. We headed out to a park nearby at sunset and got these magical shots.
I’m pretty sure everyone at the park and driving by thought we were all complete weirdos due to the random noises we were all making,
but hey, whatever makes them smile. Here are a few of my favorites photos from her session! Enjoy!!!
Corbyn and her daddy dancing at the park, so sweet. I could not help but think that one day he would be dancing with her on her wedding day. Corbyn with her mommy in a sweet moment.
Jason & Amanda’s Maternity Photos//Las Vegas NV Photography
Celebrate your pregnancy with maternity photos! I met Jason and Amanda almost exactly one year ago when they were just engaged through a mutual friend. I actually took their engagement photos out at Valley of Fire, I was so bummed that they had already hired another photographer and videographer for their wedding day but I was thrilled with they asked me to do their maternity images and after the little ones comes newborn images. Now one year later they are married and are expecting a little one next month!
We headed up to Spring Mountain Ranch State Park for their session. I wasn’t sure how it would look in the winter but it was still really beautiful up there. Here are some of my favorite images.
Jason and Amanda Teaser Maternity Photography Las Vegas nv
Just wanted to share one of my favorite images of Jason and Amanda from their maternity session this week up at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park. I can’t wait to share many more images with you!
Las Vegas NV Children Photographer // Emma’s Portraits
I had the pleasure of photographing Emma again as she is getting ready to celebrate her 7th birthday! I shot her family photos last fall and it was awesome to be able to meet up with this fantastic family again! We headed out to Lake Las Vegas with balloons in hand.
Emma was so excited for her photo session, she knew this time it was all about her! It always amazes me how much the kids can change in such a short time. The last time I had seen her she was very mellow and now she was a little spitfire. Full of energy and ready to strike any pose you could think of! She even sang me a few songs, lol. She brought along her adorable little sister Lily who I could not resist with her oh so cute hat! I am a sucker for kids in hats, I don’t know what it is but they get me every time, lol. We were also lucky enough to get a great sunset, those seem pretty rare in Las Vegas.
I love to photograph kids and families. I am pretty laid back and I will do anything to make your kids smile and laugh. When you are looking for someone to photograph your family be sure to ask a few things.
First is the photographer good with children? I am someone with tons of experience photographing little ones. I truly enjoy creating a great experience for your family and capturing your child doing what they do best, being a child! Sure I love to get the posed shot too but it is always great to capture the real smile and laughter and kids at play.
Do you have a location choice? For sure! No two sessions are ever the same I work with your family to find the location and poses that works best for you. I always suggest doing portraits someplace where your family will be relaxed and comfortable. While studios can be nice I find that kids are themselves outdoors whether it be a park, playground, lake, exploring a ghost town or anything else your family enjoys doing together.
Referrals are also a great way to know if we are the right fit for your family. Check out our testimonials to see what other families enjoyed about working with us!
Do they offer the Photo CD with print release? We absolutely do! We know moms love to share their families portraits with well, pretty much everyone they know! We offer the CD for an additional fee so that you may print anything you like, post images to facebook and archive the images for years to come.
I also bring an assistant with me to help with getting the kids to smile, make sure your hair looks good and all the little details so we don’t miss anything. It is also a huge help to me so I can focus on your family unit and what makes you, you.
We would love to chat with you and capture your family portraits, feel free to give us a call at 702.527.0258
Las Vegas Trash The Dress Session ~ Anthony and Allyson ~ Calico Basin
Anthony and Allyson were married last month on 11.11.11 at the beautiful Mandalay Bay. I was lucky enough to photograph their wedding celebration and now their Trash The Dress Session. These really are my favorites, everyone gets to play dress up, we go to an awesome location and get some very artistic images! Allyson was stunning and Anthony was very dapper in his suit. They were such good sports, it was pretty chilly outside.
Here are some of my favorite images from the photo session!
Las Vegas Couple Session ~ Perry and Rhiannon ~ Mount Charleston Snow
We headed up to Mt. Charleston this past weekend with Rhiannon and Perry for their session. With a storm that hit the day before we had tons of fresh powder to work our way through. These guys were awesome and stuck it out in the chilly 19 degree weather and made the most of our snowy wonderland. Sometimes in Vegas it just doesn’t feel like winter or the holiday season, but I tell you what, head up to the mountain and it will change everything!
Las Vegas Trash The Dress Session Film ~ Michael and Carina ~ Spring Mountain Ranch
We had the pleasure of capturing Michael and Carina’s wedding day at Angel Park Golf Club.
They also decided to do a Trash the Dress Session up at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park
the day after their wedding. Michael and Carina are so awesome and great sports.
Originally Carina did not want to get her dress dirty but she decided why not?
So we made the most of a gorgeous stormy day in Vegas and managed only to get her dress
slightly dirty. I know many people think Trash the Dress means we are literally going to trash the dress
but that’s not how we do it. Its a session where you can get some truly artistic shots in an
unusual location that you would not normally see a bride and groom in.
They really are some of my favorite sessions! This is the film we put together for them.
We would love to hear what you guys think!
Some things we think you should consider when you are booking your wedding cinematographer or videographer. Make sure you have an opportunity to speak with the cinematographer that will be filming your wedding day, it is important that you get along and have a clear understanding of everything you can expect.
Ask to see examples of his or her work and make sure you love what they do! When visiting different companies be sure to ask specifically who shot the video and who edited it. Sometime’s companies show work from a prior employee who no longer works for them and don’t have the means to create the same caliber of work, be sure the work you see and who did the work is who you are going to get!
Find out the style of wedding videos that you like, do you like something very traditional, do you like documentary style with interviews and voice overs? How about the artsy cinematic style? We are a combination of documentary meets artsy cinematic.
You also want to find out if the studio you are using edits their own work, this is very important as they will have insight to your personalities and all the details of your day that made it so special. When it comes to editing you also want to find out approximately how long the finished video will be. Some people think that if you have your cinematographer there for 7 hours you will have 7 hours of video, that is not the case. In fact the finished video depends on the activities of your day and how long your ceremony is.
Do they offer a highlight video? Is that all you receive or do you receive a completely edited DVD as well? We create a highlight video that will be posted online for you to share with your family and friends as well as a completely edited DVD of all the events of your day. The DVD will have a menu with chapters so you can easily skip to different events that happened throughout your wedding day. The ceremony will be in it’s full not just bits and pieces. Will you be able to select the songs that are used for your wedding video? You bet! We always ask that you choose 5 or 6 songs that we will then edit different sections of your wedding day to.
Las Vegas Family Portraits ~ Lisa, Raine and Haley ~ Floyd Lamb park
I met Lisa, Raine and Haley at Floyd Lamb Park for their family portrait session. If you have never been there now is the time to go, it’s so beautiful, almost as if your no longer in Vegas. The leaves were gorgeous and I loved to watch Haley play in them, so cute! Here are some of my favorites!
Las Vegas Family Photos // Jon and Erin // Floyd Lamb Park
I had the pleasure this past week to photograph Jon, Erin and JT this week at Floyd Lamb Park. The fall colors were still as beautiful as ever and the weather was amazing. The things I will do to make kids smile make me wonder what parents think of me when their photo session is over, lol. Needless to say I will dance around, sing silly songs, play peek a boo, whatever it takes. Here are some of my favorite images from their family portraits.
Family Portrait Photographer ~Las Vegas ~ Heather and Mike
I had the pleasure of taking Heather and Mike’s family portraits this week at the beautiful Spring Mountain Ranch. I was so excited to see the tie on Landon, he looked so stinking cute! Makayla looked like a doll and from the moment I got my camera up she was ready to take photos! Heather had lots of ideas for photos she wanted to take and they turned out adorable. She may have just started a new family portrait craze! lol. Thank you guys for choosing Moxie Studio to capture your family this year. It was truly a pleasure!
Las Vegas Engagement Photography- Michelle and Michael
You probably recognize Michael and Michelle as I previously shot their family portraits at Spring Mountain Ranch.
Well I thought they should have their own engagement session to celebrate their upcoming vintage themed
wedding. We timed it perfectly with the leaves changing in Las Vegas, it actually looks like fall! We headed up
to Floyd Lamb Park where I discovered I brought Michelle to her worst nightmare, lol, ducks and geese.
Luckily the animals played nice and kept their distance for the most part except a random pigeon that really
wanted to be in a few photos. Here are some of my favorite images from their session.
Talia, Brent, Kenna and Kylie- Las Vegas Family and Maternity Portrait Photographer
Talia came to us for some maternity images. She also wanted her family there and involved with the photo session
so we made it a dual session
We went to Spring Mountain Ranch for their photo shoot and of course
we had to go right when this nasty cold wind came to Vegas. We all toughed it out though and made
the most of the beautiful scenery. Here are some of my favorite images!
Shali and Jason’s Trash The Dress Session
We filmed Jason and Shali’s Wedding back on September 16th at the beautiful Griffin Mansion and I was thrilled when they wanted to plan a Trash the Dress Session! I met up with them and their photographer to create an awesome video out at Spring Mountain Ranch and then headed over to Calico Basin. While I am still editing the video I just wanted to show some stills that I took from their Trash the Dress film! I am photographer primarily but normally shoot video as a second for Jamison when needed so it was fun for me to put everything into motion without him there. Film to come soon!
Las Vegas Family Portraits-Michael, Michelle, Emma and Lilly
I have to say that family portraits with Michael, Michelle, Emma and Lilly were a blast. We headed to Spring Mountain Ranch State Park for an enchanting afternoon filled with butterflies, laughter and a cow named Petunia. Emma is such a doll and baby Lilly, well she is a tough one to get to smile but man when she does it just makes you light up. I love when you can feel the love between a family, no stress during the photo shoot, just relaxing and enjoying themselves, what an awesome bond these guys have. Here are some images to highlight our afternoon together.
Justin and Susan’s Engagement Session
This past weekend we had the pleasure of meeting up with Susan and Justin at Spring Mountain Ranch State Park
for their engagement session. It was a beautiful fall day and the perfect setting for their photos.
We had a blast with the two of you and can’t wait for your wedding day next Spring!
Las Vegas Trash the Dress Session- Mike and Carina
I was thrilled when Mike and Carina decided to do a Trash the Dress session the day after their wedding. These session are always so much fun and everyone is much more relaxed then on the wedding day. They wanted to go up to Spring Mountain Ranch State Park for their photo session. After such an amazing wedding with Carina and Mike the day before Jamison decided to come along and create a film for them as well. The mood was set with a fall storm that came through and let up just enough for us to get our shots and just as we were headed to our last stop the storm rolled in again and we all made a quick dash for the car. Thank you guys for being troopers and Carina for doing a bit of hiking in your wedding dress, lol. I hope you both love the images as much as I do!
Las Vegas Engagement Session- Rick and Melissa
Rick and Melissa were the winners of the drawing we had for a FREE CineArt Engagement Film at the Green Valley Bridal Show.
I decided to tag along and take some photos while Jamison’s shot their film. We had a mini adventure with these two and their
awesome pups Bellatrix and Keyser. Our adventure included seeing lots of bunnies, three big horn sheep and the Boulder City
Police Department, lol. Yup that’s right folks, we had a crazy good time
Apparently there were no dogs allowed at the park
we went to, I assume because of the wildlife, but these little pups could have cared less about anything except the big horn
poopies, lol. All ended up well and we moved onto another area where we were allowed to be. Jamison is still busy
working on their engagement video but I wanted to show you all some of the images I captured. Enjoy!
